After 11 months since the break up of The PovertyNeck Hillbillies, the day finally came for the album release party for Chris "Abby" Abbodanza's debut solo effort "Promised Land." With great anticipation the crowd welcomed Abby and his new band to the stage with a thunderous cheer on Saturday night at the Pepsi Cola Roadhouse in Burgettstown, PA.
With the release of "Promised Land", Abby is well on his way to making his dreams a reality. He signed a recording contract with Matchless Records, penned 9 of the 11 songs on the CD, and already has a solid fan base. It can only go up from here for Abby. He has a great stage presence, with a voice that's powerful, and words that speak to anyone and everyone. His writing skills mixed with good sounds are sure to take him to the top.
